A major point of pride for Uncle Maddio’s in Rogers is being able to sponsor and support local schools and organizations through Spirit Days. These weekly events allow us to focus on areas throughout our region and give a little something back.
Some of our participants include Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, sports teams (an autographed Rogers Heritage High Girls Basketball sits proudly in our restaurant), and area non-profits. During each Spirit Day, we take a percentage of our entire day’s sales and donate that amount to our sponsored organization. And we made sure to specify it was the ENTIRE day. So it’s not just a Spirit NIGHT, it’s both lunch and dinner – and everything in between.
This April we are donating a percentage of every Tuesday’s sales to Janie Darr. Every lunch. Every dinner. Every Pizza. Every cookie. If it’s on a Tuesday and it’s in April – you’re helping the Janie Darr Jaguars.
Janie Darr, ranked one of the top 10 Elementary schools in the state, opened in the fall of 2013. The school was named in honor of current Superintendent Janie Darr, who spent over 35 years holding various positions within the Rogers School District. Prior to her current role, she was known as an english teacher, counselor, and deputy superintendent.
Janie Darr Elementary continues to grow and be a shining example of progress in our local education system.
Come out and support the Janie Darr Jaguars this April by enjoying a pizza, salad, or cookie every Tuesday!
